What to Wear on Five Day Trips 'Round Town.

These outfits are perfect for a day out on the town. With an oversized tote that can hold all the goodies one needs to be away from home for the afternoon, the world is your oyster!  Here are five of our favorite activities to do in this wonderful city we hold dearly.

1. Boston Common & The Public Gardens. Who doesn’t love an afternoon spent strolling through lush greens, enjoying the same historic common that our city founders have paced? On a sunny day, there is nothing better than walking through the park, sharing a lunch by the pond, and perhaps ending the day with a swan boat ride.
2. Newbury Street. Besides our love for beautiful clothing and trendy shops, the old town houses and lamp posts that line the street give Newbury a sort of mysticism, almost as if entering an Audrey Hepburn movie. Newbury Street is one of the best places in Boston to stroll through in the middle of the day or to end an evening.
3. Charles River. If we could have a picnic anywhere in Boston, it would be along our beloved “dirty water”. The green patches by the river are great spots to lounge around and enjoy the company of friends.
4. Boston Esplanade. Throughout the summer, the Hatch Shell hosts flicks right at sunset. Summer movies are a must, and if you haven’t already spread a blanket and laid out with your most loved, this is the place to do it!
5. Duck Tours. There’s something charming and unique about the Duck Tours that ride through Boston. Maybe it’s their iconic Bostonian drivers, or maybe it’s how recognizable the driving boats are to anyone who’s cruising through the city. Either way, it’s a great opportunity to learn about the city and keep kids of all ages entertained.

As summer draws to a close, make sure to explore the city while daylights in our favor. After all, Boston is Our Home.

Enjoy, Gigi
