A Letter of Gratitude for the New Year.

Hi Friends,
In 2015, at the beginning of our tenth year in business, I am feeling terrifically blessed.  The last year was a time of change and opportunities for us that resulted in great things.

In March of this year, we took a big leap in Arlington.  And by big, I mean we made our store bigger, badder and more beautiful.  Isis Parenting closed its door suddenly and tragically in January, leaving a gap in our hearts and our building.  Our expansion of Helena’s turned out to be just what we all needed.  We were able to build a main level office for our headquarters store, and grow our floor space to showcase our beautiful fashions.

This year, we also grew our outreach at our Belmont store, and welcomed several fantastic new businesses to our Cushing Square neighborhood.  Those of you who shop Belmont know the sweet and friendly nature of these community businesses.  Westcott Merchantile, Paprika Kids, and The Barber’s Den all opened this spring, and we have cooperatively grown Cushing Square into a vibrant destination.

As a shop owner, I am grateful for the smart, stylish, dedicated staff who run the day-to-day life of the stores.  Managers Jessica and Chelsea run their respective stores beautifully, and this fall we welcomed a new Assistant Manager, Emma; new Inventory Manager, Lindsey; and new Sales Associate Sashawn.  And, we are thrilled to have Gigi back from college for her hiatus before she goes to Manhattan this summer!

And mostly, I thank you.  As our patrons, you have supported us faithfully.  We have had lots of fun styling you: helping you find the best-fitting pair of jeans, the knock-out dress, and the perfect gifts.  It’s been a great year at both stores.

I will say it again, loud and proud.  Thank you.
- Katherine
