New Sanctuary in great prints and textures!

We have new Sanctuary for spring!  This line has really special separates that add color, print and texture to your wardrobe.  Pictured: the blue Glass Boat print top is sheer and sophisticated. The crocheted tunic in Chili (with peach under-pinning) is a beautiful knit for a light, airy spring to summer look.

Nally & Millie Spring Collection at Helena's.

This spring Nally out-did herself.  The prints are smashing and the shapes are what we want to be wearing all spring and summer.  The top zig-zag top is one of my all time favorites!  Come in and try on a few of her tops with a pair of Randi jeans from James Jeans and see how fabulous a the jean & tee look can get.  Also her dresses this season are amazing.  The layered tank dress shown here is in Arlington.  Come take a look!

The beauty of the drawstring waist dress from Envi.

Envi is a NY dress line from the designers of Waverly Grey.  This line is all about the art of the day-dress.  Our favorite silhouette is the drawstring v-neck dress which exude casual-chic.  We have this dress in several prints.  This lovely turquoise link print is one of the latest deliveries.  Wear it with strappy bronze sandals, or dress it up for a day wedding or shower!

Nally & Millie Reversible Dresses at Helena's!

They're back!  Last spring the Nally & Millie reversible dresses sold out.  This year they are back with even more colorful prints.  I know it is hard to believe, but the pic above is one dress. One side is the abstract graphic, turn it inside-out and the other side (fully finished seaming) is the floral print.  This is all constructed in a silky, substantial fabric that lies flat with a super figure-flattering fit.  We have this print and more!  

Pretty Tulle dress deserves a second post!

You can see this lovely green dress in an earlier post about new Tulle arrivals.  But, I saw this dress on a mannequin in Belmont this morning,  and it's so superbly pretty that it deserves another pic.  It has pleated tiers on the skirt hem and pleats along the bodice, making it a perfectly charming dress for a spring wedding or event.  And greens are big for spring, particularly those on the mint, seafoam, aqua end of the greens.  This is paired with a little London Times cardy.

Splashy Colors from BB Dakota and Jack

New shipments of BB Dakota and Jack have arrived and with them a bevy of lovely summer dresses/tunics. We love the youthful freshness and poppy colors that define these lines. The Portland dress in bright red comes with a colorful braided belt, and would look fabulous with a pair of cropped denim jeans and sandals...and at only $66.00, it is a great deal!

Pretty Summer Dresses From Tulle

Simple easy styles and pretty feminine details are what it is all about for Tulle this season. We just received these two beautifully cute dresses last week. Clean silhouettes with elastic waistbands make this style easy and versatile. We love the candylike printed Anise dress with bow detail. Dress up with heels and a smart cardi, or down with leggings and flats.

BB Dakota's take on floral.

Florals are a HUGE trend for spring from soft impressionist prints on tops and dresses, to one-single bloom on a dress or skirt.  This A-line tank from BB Dakota bring in the corals and golds for this new floral tank.  So pretty.  Find this tank at Helena's Arlington.

Stripes from Velvet.

This fresh stripe top from Velvet is made of a lightweight jersey and pairs perfectly with white jeans or white crop pants.  The bold color and volume are perfectly on-trend for this season!  At Helena's Belmont.

James Jeans Randi comes to us in Royal!

To add to the colored denim craze, we now have the ever-popular Randi jean from James in Royal.  And yes, it is as fabulous as you think it is.  It is shorter than the standard Randi length which leaves it falling at the ankle...perfect length for spring jeans!  Wear this with a colorful tank and you have a smashing outfit!  These pants are at Helena's Arlington.

We are re-stocked in the Seven-Year-Skirt!

The Seven-Year skirt from Effie's Heart is a customer favorite.  We are restocked with this skirt, including the ever-popular Bloom print shown here.  We have this black/grey/white print as well as a navy Noir print, Cayenne and Black.

Cinder Jeans in Aqua from Red Engine.

The Cinder from Red Engine has been our best-selling jean for a few seasons.  Its slim-but-not-too-skinny leg and the double-button at the waist give it a super flattering fit.  In the fall and early spring we have carried this jean in lots of denim washes, as well as black and grey.  The newest color to arrive for April is this washed aqua.  It has contrast stitching and the same easy Cinder fit.  Looks great with a one of the many new white tops in-store.  These pants are at Helena's Belmont.

Lovely new dresses from Lofiel.

The Lofiel tanks and tops that came in last month were best-sellers.  So we were thrilled to have another delivery that included dresses!  We have this hi-low dress in two gorgeous color-rich prints.  This one is in our Franklin street window this week with an Ada belt and a long beaded necklace. Come in and try on this look!

Spring scarves are your favorite new accessory!

As you know, we have a thing for scarves.  We bring in supple fine-knit wool scarves and shawls in the fall, and sumptuous big knit woodenships scarves in the winter.  And in the spring we have lot and lots of light colorful cotton and blended woven scarves.  Yesterday, a customer in Arlington told me that she finds scarves to be more versatile than necklaces (she bought two more).  Here are a few of our favorite scarf-enhanced looks in the store now.  From the top: bella dahl navy top with Red Engine Viper crop in white, topped off with a green/aqua/navy scarf; Envi dress with Wearables jacket and yellow scarf; and lastly Kensie double layer tank dress with Ada belt and nubby cotton scarf.  Both stores are stocked with great colors!
