Imagine yourself in a pair of great jeans and a simple pretty top (Red Engine Cinder jean + tank from Velvet), with the this little number slung over your tanned shoulder. Melie Bianco knows how to add inspiration in embellishment...without going over the top. See this and other great bags that just arrived!

Bellyssima Maternity Dress.
This dress is a knock-out. It's pretty. It's special. It's versatile. The belt, of course, is the fashion centerpiece. It's also removable, and can be worn with different dresses. On a pregnant belly (it is modeled on a regular dress frame) the belt sits higher, above the belly, right below the bust. For more on the Canadian line Bellyssima, click here.
Stand out dress for your summer events!

Sweet little Velvet dress at Helena's.
Sometimes, we get a dress in the store, and all the ladies say:
"Oh, that is so Helena's!"
That's true of this little number from Velvet. A pretty print in grey, turquoise, purple and cream (all colors that we LOVE). With a delicate sleeve, a cross-over top, and a ruched band at the waist.
It arrived all by itself the other day. A sweet little summer surprise.
We're flush with new hats!
Due to a rush on our widest brim San Diego hats, we were skinny in the hat department for a few weeks. We are full again! If you like color, we got it! If you are looking for the neutral hat to go everywhere from the beach to the cafe, we have that too! My favorite is the inky purple hat...and there is only one left.
Pretty Printed Skirt from Lole.
Our town need us...
Arlington Public Schools face a 3.9 million dollar deficit in the coming year. The "Bridge the Gap" campaign is a fund to literally fill the financial gap in the school budget. The organization has a goal of $1 million to assist the public schools. If you are an Arlingtonian (former, current or future), please consider a donation. Many Arlington businesses (including Helena's) have given to the cause. Click here to visit the "Bridge the Gap" site. The fund closes on June 7th. Thank you!
