Pretty Necklines from Velvet

Crocheted necklines are a lovely trend for spring. Velvet, as usual, executes this with particular grace. We have two pieces in this style. The first is the Adalyn dress in black, and the second is the tank-shirt in white. Both are comfortable cotton knit with a lovely "Y" back.

Tee Party in WWD

The British designed Tee Party has become a staff favorite. The first collection we have for spring features jeweled toned dresses, tunics, and tops all with a twist here and a ruffle there. The knot-front tunic with the tie at the sleeve is one of my personal favs. (Seen here in WWD). We have it in the deep crimson micro-stripe. The shoulder is open, and the whole piece looks modern and feminine. It looks fantastic with leggings and over slim jeans. And, as always is true at Helena's, it's super comfy.

J-41 Cosmo Shoe:Easy Elegance

Dress up and be comfortable in the peep toe Cosmo wedge from J-41. J-41 is known for it's comfort and unconventional details. The cosmo has the same pretty perforated body as the popular Journey shoe, but with a sleeker design. Easy to pair with a spring dress, or just jeans. We have the Cosmo in elegant black patent.

Melie Bianco Bags

The good stuff just keeps rolling in. Helena's is thrilled with it's maiden order of Melie Bianco bags. Buttery, non leather, bags with lots of funk and flair. The Appliqued bag above is one of our faves. We think the bold pattern and soft colors are just the right combination for the spring season.

New Prairie Underground at Helena's

A lovely new shipment from Prairie Underground has arrived in fresh spring colors. My favorite, the cloak hoodie, is dreamy and cloudlike in this pale silver fog color. We are also huge fans of the short cloak hoodie, which comes in this whisper soft pale lavender color. Need we say more?

Christopher Blue and Worn: Cream of the Crop

Ahhhh Spring. Birds are whistling, days are brighter, and the crocus are popping their bright heads out of the sleepy earth. Time to bust out the crop pants!


We just got a bunch of crops and capris from two of our favorite lines Christopher Blue and Worn. Known for stellar fit and comfort, both lines have outdone themselves this spring with great new styles. The Miley Capri in bright white from Christopher Blue is a slender capri with lots of stretch. The trim leg looks wonderful paired with a blousey top from Lole.

For those of you who prefer a shorter crop we have these lovely Maxwell Crop pants from Worn. A similar fit to Christopher Blue and cute as can be in this pale stone color. A perfect companion to the bright coral cardigan from Nick and Mo.

Introducing: LA Made Maternity

How delighted were we when we discovered that LA Made was introducing a maternity line. Our first shipment of four fab styles arrived today and is a great addition to our stylish maternity section. La Made has been a staple brand here at Helena's for a couple years. We love it's simplicity and deliciously supple cotton and bamboo fabrics. The Rosalyn wrap dress above is an easy and flattering style for spring, and the cross over top makes for great post partum wear as well.

Love is in the air! New Spring Effie's Heart has arrived. Vintage inspired fashions for the gal who yearns for the romance of yesteryear, whether it be the sexy pin-up girl bustle dress or the Victorian crochet shrug.
