Trend Alert: Lacy Crochet from XCVI

XCVI has out done itself with these gorgeous romantic lacy crochet pieces. The Sonnet Skirt is a knee length skirt that has an easy fit and lovely zig zag hem. We have the Sonnet in black. One of our favorite pieces is the Loveliest Tunic, which is indeed absolutely lovely. We the the Loveliest in a beautiful natural Ivory color.

Good things come in twos: Kensie Jackets.

Kensie jackets always offer high-style at a great value. The top jacket is a soft french terry with a asymmetrically zip. We have it in clay (shown) for $88. The bottom jacket is Kensie's bomber jacket. This twill jacket has lots of stitching detail and ruched pockets ($98).

Fanya Striped Skirt from Velvet.

New Velvet arrived last week, which is always exciting at the store. There are new scoopneck tops with gauzy sleeves in fresh spring colors. Also from Velvet, two micro striped pieces: a great short sleeved top, and this Fanya skirt. The diagonal pattern is fabulous. We have it in a dark midnight blue stripe.

In Our Window: Pretty pieces from Tulle

Tulle has knocked our socks off again with their latest pretty pieces new this week. The patterned tank is delicate and lovely with a small ruffle, and tones of mulberry, green and white. The Jungle dress is a fantastic combination of of pinks, greens and blues in an abstract painterly print. As always with Tulle, these are a wonderful values at $46 and $56.

Fossil's Colorful Crossbody Bags!

A new delivery from Fossil came in this week, and they are lovely. One of our favorite shapes is this square cross-body bag, which is just the right size for all your essentials. But one of the best things about this bag is the comfortable "fit". It sits flat on the body, and is light and easy on the shoulder. We have it in both these prints as well as solid black and solid orange. This Key-Per bag is $58!

New Prairie Underground

Our latest order of Prairie Underground arrived yesterday. Among the gorgeous new styles are the Le Fay Hoodie, which is a shorter, trimmer hoodie than the short Cloak hoodie. We have the Le Fay in natural and midnight(navy).

Remember the fantastic Mothette dress that we all loved so much? Well, Prairie did a blouse version this season which we have in black. This fitted, ruched top is super flattering and like all Prairie has an edgy vibe and fantastic silhouette.

Dresses and skirts from Hazel came into the store yesterday! The top dress is silky cotton tank dress in a navy and pastel feather print. With its beaded neckline, this dress is a steal at $108. This striped Dex cardy has been the runaway hit for spring tops! We have re-ordered it too many times to count. And here's why...it's really perfect. It's pictured here with a yellow Last Tango tank, a Bohm necklace, and a Nusantara scarf. The scarf is obscuring the little button detail on the collar of this cardy. Love these sandals from Sadies!

The Alex sandal from Miz Mooz is my new favorite shoe for spring. I got these at Sadie's (after a half hour of chatting with Betsy and her lovely customers) in East Arlington. Today, I wore them at the NY fall buying shows...which means walking, walking and more walking. My Alex sandals proved flexible and comfy all day, and into my evening train-ride home. Lovely!
