Helena's Arlington Will Open Tomorrow!

After over a week of painting, setting up our new fixtures and adding all kinds of beautiful details, Helena's Arlington will open tomorrow!  We are still a work-in-progress.  The new construction of our expansion is a few weeks away from conclusion.  Come in and see all the new fashions!  We have missed you!

...to re-open the Arlington location?  Prairie Underground!  Jessica, Hannah and Chelsea all showed up for move-in day in their favorite hoodies.  After a day of redressing the racks, making the store look amazing and cleaning like crazy, these three still look lovely!

New York Shows: Preview of Fall 2014

This was the week NYC hosted the fall fashion shows!  Sunday we exuberantly attended the Designers & Agents show in Chelsea.  The fall Prairie Underground collection is filled with soft fabrics, new shapes and great new colors!  We also previewed the Pendleton Portland Collection for summer...you will see some of their beautiful accessories come spring!

We hit the enormous and delicious Coterie show on Monday & Tuesday.  Our favorites: New prints from Nally & Mille (above), the summer washes from Joe's Jeans, Wooden Ships fall sweater collection, and Ella Moss tops!

This perfect jean jacket from Joe's will be in-store at the end of the summer!  (Yes, that is an espresso machine in the booth...it is a very caffeinated show.)  We continue to find the best of new trends for the year-round Helena's collection!

Our Arlington Expansion & Renovations Start Tomorrow!

Our Arlington renovations start tomorrow! Starting Wednesday, our Arlington store will be temporarily closed as we begin our expansion and renovations. We hope to open in the latter part of next week. Our Belmont location is open for all your spring fashion and customer service needs! We will keep you posted on FB and on our blog.

Our plan for expanding & renovating our Arlington store!

Hi Friends,
We opened our little shop in Arlington in 2005.  Since then, there have been many changes to our beloved building at 397 Massachusetts Avenue.  In 2010 Helena's moved to the front of this space and grew our offerings.  With Isis' recent departure and closing, we are taking the leap and expanding into part of the adjacent space.  We will add another dressing room, and round out our curated collection of fashion with more from our best-selling lines.  It will be deliciously enticing when complete!  We are working our tails off in planning with a local designer and local artisans.  As we approach construction date we will post the days that we will be closed as we work to renovate.  In the mean time, come in to say hello and shop our spring fashions!  Look for more news soon!

It's always a good day when Prairie arrives at our door.  This Spring collection featured the Hemp Chevron tunic, a perfect cozy-chic top for the season.  One of our favorite new pieces from Prairie is the Body Armour vest.  Wear it buttoned up for a dramatic collar, or open for a relaxed look.  What a great start to Spring!
